I'm such a terrible Blogger...!

I am such a terrible Blogger. It's been forever since I posted on here. I haven't released anything new since December 2013. I suppose you could say I've had writer's block and a serious lack of inspiration. Currently, I am working on editing and tying up a novel. I'm also in the beginning stages of a new one. An idea popped into my head yesterday and I've been working on the basic outline today. I hope to have out something new soon! Generally, I stay away from writing about small town life. However, the new idea I'm working on an outline for will take place in a small Tennessee town. I feel like I could do it justice since I've always lived in a small town. We'll see how the outline and rough draft turn out. Sorry I'm such a terrible Blogger! :)

Lesbian romantic comedies

I’ve recently fallen in love with reading lesbian comedies. After reading Jae’s Something in the Wine, I’ve been searching for more books with humor.

By far the best one I’ve read lately is Rebecca’s Cove. I’ve never laughed so hard! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lesbian romantic comedy. I loved the characters and the side characters, too. Some of the side characters are truly hilarious.

I liked Miss Match, too. It didn’t hold my attention as much as Something in the Wine, but it was still quite funny.

A couple years ago, I read Robbi McCoy’s Two on the Aisle. It too is a laugh a minute. I never thought I would see a lesbian romance with goats in it, but they have a big part in that one. It’s cute, funny, and a unique take on Shakespeare.

Right now, I am reading Layce Gardner’s A Perfect Romance.

If anyone knows of any other lesbian romance stories with a good blend of humor, I’d love to hear about them!

Excede and edits!

          So, today we finally had Excede installed. I know satellite is not supposed to be as good as DSL and cable, but when you're accustomed to dial-up it's pretty damn awesome. Now if only this area would get on the map for receiving cell phone signals. Yes, I live in an area that small! 

          I'm working on edits for Unbreakable. I hope to have them finished by Monday. I really need to catch up on college homework this weekend, too. I've gotten behind thanks to the dial-up. Maybe now my tests won't time me out, yay! 

          I'll be taking part in an LGBT event at  Scorching Book Reviews next month. My post will be up on April 13th so be sure to check it out. I'll be doing a character interview with Lynn from Broken Star.
